The government of the Irkutsk region will found Fund for investments into IT startups. The head of the region Sergey Eroshchenko on the VI Baikal declared the Internet it a forum today. According to the acting the Governor, the beginning businessmen in the sphere of information technologies extremely need such source of financing.
Sergey Eroshchenko noted that the IT sphere is a modern, technological branch, a key component for development so-called “creative economy”. She creates a huge attraction for youth.
– We want to create such conditions for IT business development that to young people was more interestingly and more favorably to remain with us here, but not to leave the region in the Irkutsk region, – Sergey Eroshchenko emphasized.
The acting the Governor told to participants BEEF that in area preparation of necessary infrastructure for small and medium business proceeds. This year funds for creation on the principles of public and private partnership of business accelerators are provided. The head of the region considers that this infrastructure will be demanded by the companies which are engaged IT technology. Besides, the Government of the region intends to leave with the legislative initiatives reducing tax burden for the organizations which are engaged in information technologies.
– We already began work on the bill of privileges on the property taxes and on profit for the large IT companies (information technologies) and zeroing of a tax for the small companies using the simplified system of the taxation, – Sergey Eroshchenko declared
